AU Refund via Float Account
Applies to: Refund API
What's Changed: Merchants in Australia can now process refunds directly from their float account. This enables account to account refunds to be initiated via the Refund API or Merchant Dashboard, with funds debited in real time and instantly returned to the customer. All refund transactions are captured in reporting and audit logs for full traceability.
Why This Matters: This bridges the gap where merchant accounts are ineligible for mandate refunds. Keeping the same experience by ensuring fast and reliable settlement, while reducing the operational complexity for merchants processing refunds out of channel.

Float Account Balance in Merchant Dashboard
Applies to: Merchant Dashboard
What's Changed: The Merchant Dashboard now includes visibility of merchant float account balances. Balances update in near real-time as payments, refunds, and disbursements are processed, giving merchants direct insight into their available funds.
Why This Matters: This provides merchants with greater transparency and control over their float position, reducing reliance on external reports and enabling more confident fund management.
Merchant Dashboard - User Timezone
Applies to: Merchant Dashboard
What's Changed: Merchant dashboard users can now set their timezone preferences from their profile page. This is specified through selection of an IANA TZ identifier (eg. Australia/Sydney), with a default selection of UTC. This means all dates and times presented in the dashboard are localised to the individual user preference.
Why This Matters: Previously, all dates and time values in the user dashboard were presented in UTC only. This led to confusion and workarounds from merchant users when performing transaction enquiries and reconciliation.
This feature is now available to all dashboard users.
